She had announced her marriage was coming to an end.
And it has now emerged Big Bang Theory star Mayim Bialik followed through on her promise and filed divorce papers to end her union with Michael Stone, her husband of nine years.
According to TMZ, in the papers she submitted the documnents at Los Angeles County Superior Court she has cited 'irreconcilable differences' as the reason for the split.
The papers were filed on November 21, the same day she announced the couple's split, but they were just released by the courts on Thursday.
The 36-year-old former Blossom favourite told her fans on Wednesday she reached the decision after 'much soul-searching.'
She recently released a book about attachment parenting, but says the philosophy that encourages forming close bonds with near-constant physical contact played 'no role' in the couple's split.
She has previously said she co-sleeps with her sons Miles, seven, and Frederick, four, and practiced extended breast-feeding (past the age of two).
In a statement on her website, Mayim said: 'Divorce is terribly sad, painful and incomprehensible for children.
'It is not something we have decided lightly.
'The hands-on style of parenting we practice played no role in the changes that led to this decision; relationships are complicated no matter what style of parenting you choose.

She continues: 'Our sons deserve parents committed to their growth and health and that’s what we are focusing on. 'Our privacy has always been important and is even more so now, and we thank you in advance for respecting it as we negotiate this new terrain.
She concluded: 'We will be ok.'
The pair married in 2003 after Michael, who was raised in a Mormon family, converted to Judaism.
It has already been a difficult year for Mayim, who was injured in a car accident in Los Angeles in August.
It was initially thought she would lose her thumb, but she assured her fans via Twitter that all her fingers would remain intact.
Mayim found fame as a child star in the hit Nineties show Blossom and currently plays Amy Farrah Fowler in The Big Bang Theory.
The star, who completed a PHD in 2007, has also written parenting book called Beyond the Sling: A Real-Life Guide to Raising Confident, Loving Children the Attachment Parenting Way.
